A macOS-only unsigned standalone binary appears in release assets and container images are published, but the installation docs present neither as a way to obtain the tool. The Homebrew formula is Google's, but it is deprecated and scheduled for removal, so installing it emits a deprecation notice. MacPorts is current and matches upstream.

We have not measured this one yet. Opening a harness up means reading its source, sizing every subsystem and recording a real session. That takes a while, and we would rather do three properly than eleven badly.
